Professional Life

Summary Professional Life.

My professional journey in the development sector is defined by progressive leadership and a deep commitment to creating sustainable change. I built my career from the ground up, beginning as an Intern with Empower Children and Communities Against Abuse (ECCA-Uganda) in 2008. I was quickly promoted to Program Officer, managing key initiatives across the Kampala and Luwero districts.

In 2010, I transitioned to an international role with Skillshare International, where I was tasked with managing a significant €3 million, 5-year project for the Lesotho Network of People Living with HIV & AIDS. Excelling in this Project Manager capacity led to my promotion in 2015 to Country Program Manager for Lesotho. In this role, I held full strategic and operational responsibility for the country office, including the management of diverse programs in livelihoods, education, human rights, and volunteer placement.

A key achievement was spearheading the localization process, culminating in the founding of Skillshare Lesotho in 2016. As the founding Executive Director, I have since led this independent national NGO, building its strategy, managing its operations, and ensuring its continued impact on the communities it serves.

Throughout my career, I have consistently leveraged growth, adaptability, and ambitious goal-setting to manage complex tasks and deliver measurable results, positively impacting the lives of hundreds of individuals.
