John Taineomwangire

John Taineomwangire is a dedicated development practitioner with over 15 years of experiance in NGO sector across East and Southern Africa. He specializes in designing and managing programs that empower vulnrrable communities, with a particular focus on public health, HIV programming, and sustainable development.
John holds a Master’s in Development Studies from University of the Free State (South Africa) and a Bechelor’s Degree (HONS) from Makerere University (Uganda). His expertise spans the full project cycle, including strategic planning, research, monitoring and evaluation, community mobilization, and social accountability.
He is deeply committed to inclusive development and has significant experience working with key populations, including youth, refugees, asylum seekers, migrants, people living with HIV, and persons with disabilities. John has a proven track record of building effective partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders, from local CSOs to multinational agencies, UN bodies, and regional organizations like the African Union.
